Create Custom Reports
Instructions for creating custom reports for Estimating Link
Caution - Custom Reports require the author to have working knowledge of and access to Sage Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Management Studio. Both have to be purchased and installed on the workstation or server which has the Estimating Link program SQL server installed.
Fields used in the custom report can be accessed using the Crystal Reports Development and the Views section of the TCLI database.
Once the report file is built and saved, it can be added to the Estimating Link using Setup > Options > Printer > Advanced Report Options. The following window will be displayed:
Click Browse, choose the custom report's path and click Close.
Your new custom report will now be available in Estimating Link by clicking on Reports > Bid Sheet and will be listed under the report titled Move Money List. In the below example, there are 3 custom reports:
