Delete Multiple Items from the Bid Sheet

How to delete multiple Items and associated Sub-Items on the Bid Sheet and manage whether they remain on the Item Sheet and under Non Bid Items

Delete Multiple Items from the Bid Sheet

While on the Bid Sheet module of Estimating Link, go to Services > Costs > Remove Bid Items as show below:

The Item you had selected prior will automatically be highlighted on the next window.

Select which Item you would like to remove or use the shift and/or control key to highlight multiple Items you'd like to remove, as shown below:

Note that when the Delete Item Sheet box is unchecked on the Select Bid Items window, your Item(s) will be deleted from the Bid Sheet but will still have an Item Sheet and will still show under Non Bid Items in the tree view.

Click Ok.

If the Item(s) you are attempting to delete have associated Move Money transactions, you will receive the following Confirmation window for each Item:

Clicking Yes will delete the Item from the Bid Sheet and remove associate Move Money transactions.

Clicking No will cancel deleting the Item from the Bid Sheet and keep the Move money transactions.

As long as you did not have the Delete Item Sheet box checked, if you make a mistake and want to add that Item back to the Bid Sheet, you can do so by:

  • Right clicking on the Item in under Non Bid Items in the tree view and selecting Add to Bid Sheet
  • Select and drag the Item from Non Bid Items in the tree view to Bid Items
