Easy Step-by-step instructions to setup your TCLI Virtual Desktop on an Apple Macbook or Mac Pro Computer
Step 1 - Download Microsoft Remote Desktop app
Download Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the Mac app:
Step 2 - Add PC
Open the app and click the Add PC button:
Step 3 - Configure connection
The Add PC window will be displayed:
Enter the following:
- PC name: TCLIServerXX.TCLI.com where XX is the number that has been assigned.
- User account: TCLI\your login name
- Under General and Gateway, click the down arrow and select Add gateway:
- Enter the Gateway name: TCLIGatewayX.TCLI.com where X is the number that has been assigned.
- Uncheck the Bypass for local addresses.
- Click the Save button.
Step 4 Open the Connection
You will now have a new screen for the connection:
Click the Connection button to connect to the TCLI website server.
The following screen will appear:
Click the Continue button.
You should now be connected to TCLI's server with the Estimating Link on it:
