How Long does the onboarding take?
Our onboarding process is a structured approach to get you up and running with our services. The duration varies based on your company's specific needs and IT infrastructure. Our goal is to get you up and running as soon as possible while ensuring long-term success.
It typically takes 1-2 sessions, depending on your specific needs. The process includes everything you need to start bidding your heavy construction jobs immediately and with confidence.
Can I skip onboarding if I already know how to use your service?
While onboarding is highly recommended for to ensure optimal use of our services, experienced clients can choose to skip the onboarding training. However, even our most experienced users find value in the training. Estimating Link is a robust software program and our development team adds new user request all the time.
Our advice: whether your new or experienced, take advantage of the free onboarding session.
What does the implementation process involve?
Our comprehensive virtual implementation includes: Installing Estimating Link on your workstations and/or laptops, Configuring and deploying the User Management Module.
For Enterprise users: Installing the Server Configuration Tool & performing initial database configuration.
This streamlined process ensures a smooth setup, utilizing screen-sharing technology for efficiency.
How do I schedule my onboarding session?
After you become a TCLI customer, you will receive a welcome email that includes your credentials, step by step instructions for implementation of your chosen deployment, and a link to schedule your onboarding session. We recommend scheduling your software onboarding session right away. In most cases, it can be scheduled within a few days of you becoming a customer.
What should I prepare before starting the onboarding process?
There's nothing you need to prepare but if you have templates or spreadsheets, we recommend sending them ahead of time to streamline the onboarding experience. Our team will take the time to review these documents and prepare them to import into the software, saving you time.
Is there a cost associated with onboarding?
No. Our success relies on yours so onboarding training is included with your implementation.
Can I invite additional team members to the onboarding sessions?
Yes! We encourage you to invite any team members who will benefit from learning about our platform or process. Onboarding is a great opportunity to ensure everyone is aligned and confident using our tools.
Is there a limit to how many people I can invite?
No. There’s no limit! Feel free to include anyone from your team who will play a role in using or supporting our services. The more, the merrier!
What support is available after onboarding?
Our U.S.-based support team is readily available to assist with anything you need including but not limited to: Navigating program features, Addressing calculation questions, Installing the program on new computers, Etc.
